Co-director and tenor Stephen Sturk, a nationally recognized composer in his own right and director of the Juilliard Singers at The Juilliard School of Music from 1980 - 1983, has had a wide-ranging career which has included singing on the soundtrack for the Disney animated feature Beauty and the Beast and singing with Steve Reich and Musicians. Sturk has been the recipient of many important commissions including works for churches in California, Nebraska, Florida, Georgia, and for the Association of Anglican Musicians. Co-director and soprano Virginia Sublett made her New York debut in 1987 with the New York City Opera as Queen of the Night in The Magic Flute, a role she subsequently sang with Central City Opera and San Diego Opera. Sublett is currently the Artist in Residence at the bi-national San Diego - Tijuana New Music Festival and has performed with groups such as the Handel and Hayden Society of Boston, the Los Angeles Opera and L'Opéra de Nice.
